Last year, I discovered Teen Ink after I read about it on my friend's, Andy, blog. I joined but I wasn't that active as I only posted one article. However last week, I decided to submit my "feel-good" speech on Teen Ink. Titled "Words", the speech tackles a pretty sensitive topic in my past and pretty much the usually cause of my "episodes". It was my first time that I told other people (although with less details) so I was really happy that it was voted number 1 when it got published on Teen Ink and is currently featured on Hot Topics: What Matters.
If you like to read it then please don't hesitate but I would like to apologize for the many typos and grammar issues. A clean version will probably be posted here soon.
In another news, today is my dad's birthday, ha! Unfortunately, it will be the first time that I will missed his birthday because he went back to Sorsogon. But the good side is he came to Manila on the weekend and we already celebrated yesterday and last Saturday. So happy birthday to the coolest dad ever \(^o^)/

DeleteCongratulations on having your article being voted as # 1, Joan! =D Your article reminded me of Don Miguel Ruiz's book entitled "The Four Agreements" for they show what the power of words could do to other people.
